Ramona Zaharia, currently ‘the’ Carmen (Metropolitan New York, Royal Opera House London), gives an intensely powerful performance as Bizet’s heroine. Johan Nus directs an original and spectacular production that plunges the audience into the heart of the action.

Alongside Ramona, as captivating as she is wicked, the soloists and choir of the National Opera of Ukraine and the Grand Symphonic Orchestra offer extraordinary voices and emotions.
